Create an Account

How to create a new account in the Cync app.

1. Download Cync Mobile App:
   • iOS Version 
   • Android Version 
2. Open the app and select the create account button.
3. Enter your name, email address, and create a password between 6-16 characters and includes one number.
4. Read and agree to the Terms of Service.
5. Next, verify that your email address is correct by entering the 6-digit verification code that is sent to the email address you entered. 
6. Follow the screens to setup your smart home in app.
7. Name your Home (examples: Home, Office, Vacation Home) 
8. Select or upload a photo to represent your home.

Now you are ready to setup your smart devices!

 

 

Troubleshooting Tips

Why won't the app let me create an account?

• Confirm your mobile phone is connected to Wi-Fi.
• Email must meet the requirements: email@domain.com.
• Your password must meet the requirements: between 6-16 characters and includes one number.
• Delete the Cync app, download again and try creating a new account. 

Why didn't I get an email with the 6-digit verification code?

• Check your email's junk/spam folder.
• Add the email address "noreply@cyncsmart.com" to your email contacts, then send another email immediately.
• Wait 15 minutes. If you do not receive the email within 15 minutes, send another one immediately. 

My 6-digit verification code isn't working. What should I do?

• Confirm the 6-digit verification code has been entered correctly.
• Close and re-open the Cync app and try to re-enter the code.
• If you have requested a code more than once, you may have to wait up to 15 minutes for the most current email to arrive with the correct 6-digit verification code. A new code is generated for each request sent.
