Updating the Wi-Fi Network Connection

Update the Wi-Fi Network your Cync or C by GE Wi-Fi Devices are connected to by navigating to the Settings Menu in the Cync App. Our Wi-Fi devices include the Direct Connect Smart Lights, Wired Smart Switches, Smart Plugs and Cameras.

Settings Menu 

1. Tap Settings in the top left corner of the app homes screen.
2. Select Room and Devices.
3. Select the Room your device is assigned to.
4. Select View Devices.
5. Swipe through the devices assigned to that room until you find the device you want to edit. 
6. Tap the Edit button under the device image.
7. Scroll down and tap Wi-Fi to change the network your device is connected to.

Tip: You can also access settings from by selecting the gear icon in the upper right corner of the Room and Group control screens. This will take you directly to that Room or Groups settings section.
