Creating a New Home

Once an account has been created the Cync app will walk you through the following steps to set up your first home:
 

1. Fill in a name for your new home, then select Next. Input your local Zip Code for Sunrise/Sunset accuracy.
2. On the following screen choose your home image.
    
3. Choose an existing image from the library, or select the plus (+) button to take a photo, or choose one from your device's library. Select Next when you have chosen an image.
    
4. Confirm the image is correct, and select Yes. If the image is not correct, select No to return to the Choose Image screen.
    
5. Your home is now ready to set up new devices.
    

Creating Additional Homes

The Cync app allows you to set up and control multiple homes, such as an office space and your personal home. Follow the steps below to set up additional homes:
 

1. From the Home screen select Settings.
    
2. Select the Switch Homes pill button.
    
3. Tap the plus button (+) in the upper right hand corner of the Home Selection screen.
    
4. Fill in a name for your new home, then select Next. Input your local Zip Code for Sunrise/Sunset accuracy.
5. On the next screen choose your home image.
    
6. Choose an existing image from the library, or select the plus (+) button to take a photo, or choose one from your device's library. Select Next when you have chosen an image.
    
7. Confirm the image is correct, and select Yes. If the image is not correct, select No to return to the Choose Image screen.
    
8. Your home is now ready to set up new devices.
