Wired Switch Settings
These setting can help optimize the Cync Wired Smart Switches to meet the needs of your smart home.
Select or Update Bulb Type
Select or update the bulb that the switch is controlling by selecting Bulb Type in the settings menu of the switch.
- Switch with Neutral Wire: Choose between traditional dimmable bulbs, non-dimmable bulbs/combination of bulbs, or Cync bulbs.
- Switch without Neutral Wire: Choose between traditional dimmable bulbs, traditional non-dimmable bulbs, traditional incandecent and halogen bulbs, or Cync bulbs.
Motion Settings (for Motion Dimming Switches)
For switches with motion sensing capabilities review the Motion Settings article on the Cync support center.
Light Ring Indicator
The Light Ring Indicator is only available on the Cync button variation switches. It is not compatible with on/off paddle switches and on/off toggle switches.
- Choose between Always On and Off. For switches with motion sensors enabled the Light Ring Indicator can be set to turn on if movement is currently being detected.
Wi-Fi Disconnected Indicator
- If enabled, the Light Ring or LED status indicator will turn red if the switch loses it's Wi-Fi connection.
